Novak Djokovic defeats Bautista Agut in Madrid 3rd round (Full Match)

Novak Djokovic defeated Roberto Bautista Agut 6-2, 6-1 on Thursday in 68 minutes to reach Madrid Open quarter-finals.

Novak capitalised on five of his eight break point chances and denied his rival a single break point opportunity.
The Serbian top seed commanded 86 per cent of points on his first serve and won 13/14 points at the net, improving to a 30-2 match record in 2016.

“Everything worked very well. I didn’t give him too much time. I think I used the variation of my shots, opening up the court – flat, down the lines, slices and, also, different rotations on the serve. I’m very, very pleased with the performance.”

Match statistics: aces (1-1), double faults (0-0), winners (25-11), unforced errors (11-15), total points won (59-34).

Djokovic will next play against Milos Raonic on Friay at 9.30pm
